Strategic production management and material inventory control PCP Coordinator Position Description: We are seeking a PCP Coordinator to lead the Production Planning and Control team in our company. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating PCP department activities, evaluating manufacturing performance through production data consolidation, aligning with strategic planning, and proposing technological improvements and solutions. Responsibilities: * Develop and supervise the PCP team, proposing departmental improvements through performance evaluation meetings, providing guidance and corrective actions whenever necessary. * Analyze sales demand, maintaining contact with the commercial manager via meetings to obtain sales forecasts, ensuring the most accurate possible production planning. * Evaluate production by analyzing production data reported by the supervisor, identifying and adjusting potential deviations. * Assess the PCP team’s performance by reviewing planning and monitoring data collected by analysts, analyzing how scheduling is conducted and controlled, suggesting improvements and assisting in the process when necessary. * Manage material inventory, considering sales forecasts received from the commercial department and analyzing replenishment needs to meet demand and avoid stockouts. * Propose improvements by identifying areas requiring process enhancement or updates, consistently pursuing optimal performance, results, and exceeding expectations. * Guide the PCP and production teams on the necessity of achieving established targets through periodic meetings to present goals, propose improvements, and gather suggestions on how to achieve them, ensuring full team awareness of deadlines and the importance of meeting them. Requirements: * Prior experience in PCP or a similar position * Knowledge of production management systems * Leadership ability and teamwork skills * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields * Willingness to travel and work overtime, if required
