Knowledge of Quality Tools JOB TITLE: CSSD SUPERVISOR The CSSD Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the full operation of all CSSD processes during their shift. Key Responsibilities: * Activate operational coordination when contingency needs arise; * Present sector indicators and statistics monthly; * Address technical, operational, and client-related demands; * Ensure all equipment tests are performed according to their respective frequencies; * Train the team; * Prepare staff schedules and monitor vacation planning for assistants and supervisors; * Ensure the team accurately logs routine tasks; * Guarantee proper organization of the instrument inventory, including cleaning and adherence to the weekly review protocol; * Ensure only items eligible for sterilization per RDC 2605 and 2606 are reprocessed; * Maintain all documentation required for CSSD operations up to date; * Manage CSSD supply inventory effectively and ensure material provisioning; * Report all nonconformity (NC) events and implement corrective action plans; * Participate daily in processes alongside the surgical center and OPME; * Complete logbooks and update sector indicators; * Supervise internal protocols (incident logbook, load logbook, and material entry/exit records); Desired Requirements and Qualifications: * Completed Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; * Completed Postgraduate Program in CSSD/CS; * Active registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); * Team Management Experience; * Solid experience in CSSD or Operating Room; * Knowledge of Quality Tools; * Familiarity with RDC 15, Ordinance 482, NR 13, NR 32, and RDC 16.
