Support simple repairs on production equipment. Replace parts and components under supervision. Help clean and maintain industrial machinery. Check basic operational conditions of equipment. Accompany technicians during more complex maintenance tasks. Organize maintenance tools and materials. Assist in identifying failures or technical issues. Keep maintenance areas clean and organized. Follow safety and hygiene standards in the food industry. Previous experience as a General Services Assistant, Building Maintenance Assistant, Electrical Maintenance Assistant, or Mechanical Maintenance Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position. High school diploma required.
