The **NIR Nursing Technician** is a professional who plays a fundamental role in technical-operational and nursing care support activities, contributing to the coordination of internal patient flow,
bed management, interface with Regulation Centers, and execution of clinical and administrative routines.

**Responsibilities and duties**
* Monitor internal hospital bed occupancy and movement, updating data and providing information on patient flow according to protocols;
* Accurately record patients’ clinical and administrative data in electronic systems and records, ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of this information;
* Perform initial patient intake and record clinical data, including vital signs measurement and other basic assessments under nurse supervision, and coordinate admissions with relevant departments;
* Analyze admission requests and specialty evaluations received, verifying compliance of information with institutional criteria and forwarding them to continue the clinical workflow;
* Communicate and interface with clinical teams and the Regulation Center to update movements, bed requests, examinations, and other relevant information;
* Implement institutional clinical protocols and bed regulation guidelines, observing clinical criteria, care pathways, and established priorities to ensure organization, safety, and efficiency;
* Ensure strict adherence to biosafety standards, professional ethical principles, and rules for protecting and safeguarding patient information across all NIR routines;
* Perform other duties inherent to the position.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Technical Nursing course;
* Valid registration with the Professional Council;
* Knowledge of Bed Regulation Protocols and Hospital Flow Processes; Health Information Systems; Nursing Technical Procedures; Communication and Technical Reporting; Biosafety Standards and Professional Ethics.
* Basic Office software package;
* Experience in the role.
