To check your application status, log in to our careers page using your candidate credentials, as it will reflect any updates.** In this position, you will be responsible for processing requisitions and providing support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost and price analysis, and contract/purchase order generation. **Responsibilities** * **Conduct purchase and quality data analyses and maintain related records**, including but not limited to: purchase orders, quotations, invoices, supplier catalogs, supplier data and measurements. * **Collaborate with material planners**, establishing purchase orders—including for inventory items. * **Support customers and commercial proposals** with pricing information and assistance in supplier selection. * **Perform analytical and administrative tasks** to support strategic procurement initiatives. **Skills:** **Effective Communication:** Understanding of concepts, tools, and techniques for effective communication; ability to accurately convey, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors. **Procurement Tasks and Activities:** Knowledge of procurement policies, regulations, and processes; ability to apply practices and procedures for acquiring materials, components, equipment, and services. **Data Analysis:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that support effective analysis; ability to determine root causes of organizational problems and develop alternative solutions to resolve them. **Interpersonal Relationships:** Knowledge of techniques and ability to work constructively and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree completed * Pre-advanced English **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * Advanced English * Procurement experience *Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days per week.* **Interested in this challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
