With over 500 employees and a total area of 50,000 hectares, including 25,000 hectares of preserved land, all company farms are located in the state of Tocantins and consist of the São Geraldo (Caseara\-TO), Bacaba (Miranorte\-TO), Céu Azul (Divinópolis\-TO), Surubim (Ipueiras\-TO) and Terraboa (Almas\-TO) units, in addition to the corporate headquarters in Palmas\-TO. Focusing on meat production, AGROJEM plans to slaughter 95,000 animals during the 2022/2023 harvest year, following the completion of a new feedlot facility at the Bacaba unit (Miranorte\-TO) finished this year. Now, there are two feedlot units, with the first one located at São Geraldo. In agricultural operations, AGROJEM manages over 34,000 hectares across first and second crop seasons, part of which is used to produce feed for feedlot cattle. Through its JEM Armazéns Gerais unit, the company has capacity to store all its production and also provides third-party services with a fully automated structure in Miranorte\-TO. Another significant aspect is the genetic improvement of the Nelore breed through the NELOREJEM brand, created to supply high-potential bulls and breeding females to the market and responsible for annual auctions that stand out in northern Brazil. All these combined actions result in high operational performance, providing assurance to the meat industry. Currently, 95% of animals supplied by AGROJEM meet international export standards, with slaughtered animals becoming increasingly younger, averaging 24 arrobas in weight and carcass yield exceeding 57%.
