Our expertise is human and alive: we embrace differences to empower businesses both inside and outside the company. #### **Your challenge on the team:** You will work on the Billing team—the "financial heart of RD"—responsible for the full "quote to cash" flow. The challenge is to scale the system securely, evolving a product originally built internally to meet the company’s growing demands, while maintaining strict financial and tax compliance. Additionally, the team is aligning frontend development with RD’s engineering, requiring end-to-end vision and proficiency in React/JavaScript on the frontend and Ruby/databases on the backend. #### **Your key responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services, ensuring quality and stability. * Implement automated tests (unit, mocked, end-to-end) to ensure system robustness. * Evolve and maintain system architecture using best practices, modularity, and clear documentation. * Monitor and optimize production system performance using tools such as Datadog and Rollbar. * Share knowledge and provide technical leadership to the team, collaborating with product and engineering teams. #### **What we’re looking for:** * Proven experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails. * Deep knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. * Solid experience with automated testing and software architecture (Clean Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns). * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Sidekiq for orchestration and asynchronous processing. * Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills, with a focus on continuous learning. #### **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with messaging queues (RabbitMQ) and Redis for caching and optimization. * Experience in high-availability environments and scalability strategies. * Contributions to the technical community (articles, talks, open source, mentoring). * Prior experience in Billing teams or related areas. * Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, and JavaScript. #### **Selection process stages:** * Application \- Submission of application; * Mindsight – Work style assessment; * Talent Acquisition \- Competency-based interview with recruitment team; * Technical Challenge – Technical skills evaluation (Codebity); * Technical Interview \- Technical discussion regarding job requirements; * Final Interview \- Final alignment conversation with management; * BP Interview \- Discussion with Business Partner about culture and values; * Offer \- Final stage of selection process, including job offer presentation.
