Providing technical development support to less experienced colleagues Job Title OPERATION ENGINEER II (FULL) Work Location Florianópolis Job Description The professional will be responsible for security-related activities of the Regional and Systemic Operation Network of the National Interconnected System, ensuring system operation in compliance with guidelines, rules, and procedures outlined in the Operation Procedures Manual (MPO), as well as ensuring reliability, continuity, quality, and cost-effectiveness of electric power supply. Job Responsibilities 1\. Monitor coordination or execution of activities under their responsibility for implementing the Daily Operation Program (Regionally or Nationally), including necessary reprogramming. 2\. Perform high-complexity tasks ensuring real-time energy transmission and equipment availability at installations, transmission lines, interconnections between subsystems, and the Systemic Network (Regionally or Nationally). 3\. Conduct operational analyses and assess intervention requests assigned to the Operating Center where they work (National or Regional). 4\. Perform real-time security analyses (more complex ones) using advanced network analysis, electromechanical stability, and security region (ORGANON) tools, along with PMU data, to maintain operational network reliability under normal and contingency conditions. 5\. Coordinate and execute recording of all real-time operational information and events for subsequent investigation, analysis, and real-time feedback to Operation Support and Daily Programming departments. 6\. Coordinate and monitor other real-time operational processes, such as post-disturbance restoration, voltage and loading control, operational security control, and hydraulic operation control of reservoirs within their area of responsibility (regional or national reservoir systems). 7\. Monitor identification of needs for new developments or adaptations of real-time supervision and control systems and their applications within their region of responsibility. 8\. Participate in technical development of less experienced colleagues, providing support during atypical, complex, or conflict situations.
