




Act as a third-level technical specialist, performing administration, support, complex diagnostics, and maintenance of the client’s connectivity, network, IP telephony, and videoconferencing infrastructure. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the ICT infrastructure by providing advanced support, implementing improvements, executing operational routines, and documenting procedures—ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance with internal and client policies. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide third-level technical support for incidents and problems related to computer networks, connectivity, IP telephony, and videoconferencing. * Perform administration, operation, and maintenance of network equipment (routers, switches, controllers, firewalls, access points, among others). * Participate in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of connectivity solutions in LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, ensuring adequate performance. * Administer and configure wireless networks, including security, authentication, coverage, and performance. * Continuously monitor the network infrastructure using graphical tools and monitoring solutions, analyzing traffic, latency, and availability. * Configure, operate, and administer routing protocols and QoS, VLANs, port aggregation, Spanning Tree, and other switching technologies. * Work with software-defined networking, orchestration, and centralized management of the connectivity infrastructure. * Administer and configure videoconferencing solutions, supporting incident analysis and resolution. * Administer and configure IP telephony solutions (SIP, H.323), gateways, controllers, and other components. * Assist in designing network projects, proposing architectural, topological, and security improvements. * Evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization actions for networks and connectivity services. * Conduct preliminary impact and feasibility analyses for new solutions, updates, and patches. * Execute software updates, patches, security packages, and preventive maintenance routines. * Develop, update, and maintain the technical documentation base and network infrastructure topology diagrams. * Create and update scripts and operational procedures for internal use and for Level 1/Level 2 teams. * Engage vendors, log technical tickets, and follow up until issue resolution. * Record and keep configuration items and relationships updated in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). * Execute scheduled routines and operations in production environments per management guidance. * Generate performance reports and charts, consolidating network metrics to support decision-making. * Support support analysts in complex diagnostics by providing specialized technical guidance. * Participate in meetings and activities related to infrastructure and connectivity projects. * Ensure enforcement of information security policies and appropriate use of network resources. * Comply with Lanlink’s Compliance and Information Security procedures, standards, and obligations. * Perform other related duties compatible with the technical scope of the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background:** Completed undergraduate degree in IT or any field supplemented by a postgraduate degree in IT. **Courses or Certifications:** Desirable certifications in networking such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent; ITIL Foundation v3 or higher training, minimum duration of 24 hours; Knowledge of videoconferencing management and traffic monitoring and analysis. **Professional Experience:** Solid experience in administration, management, deployment, or support of network infrastructure; connectivity solutions; and structured cabling.
