About the Role Alcoa is seeking a Mechanic A to join our team at the Clarification Unit of the Alumar Refinery in São Luís, Maranhão. Key responsibilities include: * Performing maintenance on valves, agitators, overhead cranes, hydraulic systems, pumps, and other industrial equipment; * Executing small- and large-scale industrial piping assembly; * Performing medium- and large-scale industrial structural assembly; * Operating lifting equipment and using electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools; * Conducting hot work involving cutting and welding; * Ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools during activities. What You Can Bring to This Role * Education: Technical degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering with active registration from the Federal Council of Industrial Technicians (CFT); * Preferred: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; * Preferred: Driver’s License Class B; * Preferred: Knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance for industrial equipment; ability to prepare reports and equipment history records; * Requirement: Availability to work rotating shifts and/or administrative hours.
