Description: Required Education: * Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. Desired Knowledge: * Proven experience in developing PLC logic, preferably in applications for industrial ports; * Proficiency and experience with Rockwell Factory Talk SE/ME and AVEVA IAS SCADA systems; * Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Rockwell PLCs (Controllogix and SLC500\); * Ability to read, interpret and create electrical diagrams and P\&ID; * Experience with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet); * Specific knowledge of Industrial Programming languages (PLC \- Programmable Logic Controllers, DCS\-Distributed Control Systems, SCADA Systems, Expert Systems); * Basic understanding of process instrumentation and control; * Knowledge of operations and interlocks in industrial plants and processes; * Knowledge of electrical equipment; * Knowledge of measurement and process control instruments; * Knowledge of Control System Hardware (PLC, DCS, Data Acquisition Remotes, Power Supplies, UPS, Electrical Panels); * Knowledge of Advanced Programming languages; * Knowledge of computer networks and operating systems; * Knowledge of industrial field communication networks for equipment and instruments (Modbus, Profibus DP, Profibus PA, Devicenet, Ethernet, Controlnet, DNP3, IEC103, IEC104, RS\-485, RS\-232 and others); * Knowledge of fiber optic networks and related accessories; * Basic database management knowledge; * Basic computer hardware knowledge; * Understanding of drives and motor controls (Soft Starters, Variable Frequency Drives), MCCs, Substations and electrical controls; * Knowledge of NR\-10 regulations; * Must have active registration with CREA. Desirable Qualifications: * Rockwell or equivalent certifications; * Proficiency and experience with 800XA platform. As an Automation Engineer you will: * Execute and lead automation projects; * Prepare technical specifications for equipment and instruments for automation systems projects, logical diagrams, connection diagrams, loop diagrams, functional diagrams, descriptive reports, input/output lists for control systems, Automation System Architecture, P\&I flowcharts, instrument lists, instrument data sheets; * Develop application software, perform platform testing, commissioning, field tests and startup, assisted operation and training. 251109020218951514
