About the Role Alcoa is seeking a Mechanic B to work at the Porto da Alumar unit in São Luís \- MA, responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on port equipment. The main responsibilities of the role include:* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment; * Assemble, adjust, and repair components according to technical specifications, using appropriate tools and instruments; * Diagnose and correct failures in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; * Perform cutting, welding, alignment, and assembly of metal structures and piping; * Interpret technical drawings, catalogs, and circuits to carry out repairs and adjustments; * Follow safety standards, maintain workplace organization, and record activities in the maintenance system. What You Can Offer for the Role* Education: Technical degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (CFT – Federal Council of Industrial Technicians active); * Desired: Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment and conveyor belts, with focus on mobile machinery (such as ship loaders/unloaders and bauxite/coal forklifts), as well as ease in preparing reports and technical histories; * Desired: Basic knowledge of Office Suite; * Desired: Driver's License (CNH B); * Requirement: Availability to work in shift regime and/or administrative hours.
