Job Summary: A professional responsible for loading, unloading, and moving goods, ensuring organization and proper handling during delivery and pickup to the end customer. Key Responsibilities: 1. Load and unload goods and handle material movement 2. Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness 3. Exercise care in handling materials and equipment Perform loading and unloading of goods. Move goods between disembarkation and embarkation terminals, following guidelines specific to each type of cargo, volume, and vehicle. Deliver and collect cargo from the end customer. * Verify invoices; * Check cargo weight; * Inspect cargo prior to movement; * Reapply sealing tape to packaging when necessary; * Verify storage conditions and proper cargo packaging; * Check volume identification labels; * Arrange deliveries according to schedule; * Sort cargo by destination; * Verify labels for hazardous goods; * Optimize loading and unloading time; * Advise customers on proper cargo packaging; * Follow packaging recommendations; * Control stacking limits for boxes; * Request authorization for loading special cargo; * Palletize and wrap cargo volumes per customer requirements; * Maintain warehouse cleanliness and proper organization; * Report defective equipment; * Exercise due care in correctly handling pallets to prevent accidents and damage; * Perform other duties relevant to the position.
