Job Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level Data and AI Engineer to build the data foundation for a technology startup and integrate LLM-based solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Build and evolve the Data Lake architecture 2. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines 3. Integrate AI models (LLMs) via APIs Mid-Level Data and AI Engineer **Work model:** 100% Remote (preference for professionals based in Fortaleza/CE or the state of Ceará) **Employment type:** Individual Contractor (PJ) **Compensation:** R$ 6.000,00 to R$ 10.000,00 About the opportunity We are looking for a Mid-Level Data and AI Engineer to join a technology startup with over 1 million users. We seek a candidate with experience in Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence to build the company's data foundation and integrate LLM-based solutions. Responsibilities * Build and evolve the Data Lake architecture. * Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines. * Model data for consumption by applications and AI. * Integrate AI models (LLMs) via APIs. * Collaborate with Software Engineering teams on data structuring. * Ensure pipeline quality, observability, and scalability. Requirements * Experience in Data Engineering. * Advanced Python and SQL. * Data modeling. * Data Lake. * Relational and NoSQL databases. * ETL/ELT. * Integration with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar). * Knowledge of RAG and embeddings. * Autonomous profile focused on solution building. Nice-to-haves * Experience in startups. * Greenfield projects. * Recommendation systems. * Residency in Fortaleza/CE or the state of Ceará.
