Production Supervisor

Job Summary: Supervise the production process, ensuring organization, quality, and efficiency, while managing and developing the team. Key Highlights: 1. Problem solving and process monitoring ***Responsibilities:*** Supervise the production process by monitoring reports; * Take corrective actions in case of potential issues within the department; * Ensure factory organization and cleanliness using tools (GMP and 5S); * Conduct shift handover meetings, reporting incidents and departmental information; * Identify opportunities for process improvement; * Supervise and guide operators and assistants to ensure they perform tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively; * Manage team members by addressing daily questions, tracking employee attendance, and monitoring individual and collective development; * Assign team tasks considering delivery deadlines, safety guidelines, and established quality standards; * Manage team performance through key performance indicators (KPIs); * Resolve various production issues—such as shortages of raw materials or equipment, or process errors—by implementing appropriate solutions; * Monitor and analyze each process step using measurement equipment and reports; * Develop operational procedures; * Understand production area KPIs; * Analyze results and propose action plans; * Ensure products are manufactured according to company-established quality standards; * Guarantee timely completion and quality of all scheduled deliverables; * Control raw material inputs; * Monitor critical activities requiring supervision; * Conduct daily safety meetings; * Conduct daily quality meetings; * Collaborate with the maintenance team to address machine maintenance issues. ***Requirements:*** Prior experience in the food industry, preferably in pasta and/or biscuit manufacturing plants.
