Handle, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment Prepare meals served to hospital staff and patients according to menus developed by the Nutritionist, aiming to provide meals with food safety, while contributing to patient recovery and maintaining staff health and well-being. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan and prepare various menu components, including both therapeutic and general diets; * Coordinate kitchen assistants in executing pre\-preparation; * Monitor food time and temperature during processing and distribution; * Collect samples from all preparations; * Perform pre\-preparation of meat received as whole cuts and season accordingly; * Handle, sanitize, and maintain equipment relevant to the role, such as stoves, conventional and combination ovens, deep fryers, meat tenderizers, mixers, and related equipment; * Prepare the main dish option and replenish various preparations during distribution; * Jointly monitor, with the production nutritionist, per capita quantities of all prepared and distributed foods; * Participate in training sessions organized by management to acquire knowledge about Sanitary Surveillance regulations.
