




Job Summary: We are seeking an Institutional Development Manager to strengthen partnerships, manage communications, raise resources, and lead teams for the Favelas Museum project. Contribute to culture and environmental preservation We are looking for an **Institutional Development Manager** to join our **Institutional Development** team for the **Favelas Museum** project. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Develop partnerships and business opportunities, strengthening relationship networks and institutional image. * Plan and coordinate institutional communications, including report production, executive speeches, invitations, and event protocols. * Manage press relations in collaboration with contracted PR agencies. * Approve project communication plans with leadership and strategic partners. * Coordinate campaigns and collaborations with companies and agencies, while maintaining continuous communication with the Secretariat. * Manage the communications schedule and ensure alignment with leadership, internal departments, and sponsors. * Ensure the museum’s strategic counter-contributions at institutional and commercial events. * Coordinate leadership participation and media coverage at strategic events. * Monitor external opportunities for the museum’s institutional presence. * Develop and execute the annual resource fundraising plan, with accountability reporting to leadership. * Lead the team and supervise projects, reports, and checkpoints with funders. * Research and establish strategic partnerships, including cause-related marketing. * Develop and negotiate customized proposals for investors and sponsors. * Create new revenue opportunities and implement sustainable business models. * Develop resource fundraising initiatives, especially targeting high-net-worth individuals. * Research and develop projects for international foundations. * Create and implement new business models for the Favelas Museum targeting social investors, including selling project implementation services; **Location:** Favelas Museum (Centro Histórico Sé\-SP) **Work Schedule:** Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) **Requirements and Qualifications** **What is required for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Production or Management, Public Relations, International Relations, Communications, Museology, or related fields; * Knowledge of cultural project implementation processes (design, structuring, fundraising, execution, monitoring, and evaluation); * Knowledge of project funding mechanisms via cultural incentive laws, public and private calls for proposals, or other funding strategies. **Preferred qualifications (not mandatory):** * Familiarity with project management software is a plus; * Master’s degree in Project Management, Cultural Management, Museum Management, Cultural Marketing, or related fields (in progress or completed) is desirable; **Additional Information** We are a private, non-profit social organization specializing in managing major public cultural centers across Brazil and environmental programs.
