The professional will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies, supplier development, contract negotiation, risk management—and leading a small team (2 people) focused on performance and operational excellence. **Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for key categories aligned with the company’s global objectives. * Act strategically and operationally ("hands-on") throughout the procurement process: market analysis, strategy definition, negotiations, contract and KPI management. * Conduct market benchmarking, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, Make-or-Buy assessments, savings opportunities, and value-generation initiatives. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and local/global regulations. * Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers—identifying opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation. * Collaborate synergistically with internal departments (production, planning, quality, finance, sales, etc.) and global stakeholders. * Lead, develop, and motivate the direct team (2 professionals), fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. * Support global and regional Procurement projects—promoting integration across other business units. **Requirements** * Completed undergraduate degree. * Postgraduate degree or MBA. * Fluent/advanced English (mandatory), with ability to operate in a multicultural environment, conduct meetings and prepare reports in English—and lead forums both in-person and virtually. * Procurement experience with category management, preferably in agribusiness, chemical, or food industry companies. * Proactive profile with results orientation, negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and decision-making capability. * SAP or other integrated procurement systems knowledge is desirable. * Executive communication skills—with clarity when presenting information to leadership audiences. * Strong analytical and strategic mindset—with proficiency in market and cost analysis tools. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in multinational companies with multicultural environments. * Previous team leadership experience. * Spanish language proficiency will be considered a plus.
