Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional with academic training and postgraduate education in Health Sciences or Biological Sciences, experience in Microbiology and Immunology, and pedagogical skills for delivering both theoretical and practical classes.

Academic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or Biological Sciences (Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Medicine, or related fields).
Postgraduate qualification (specialization, master's, or doctoral degree) in Microbiology, Immunology, Health Sciences, Clinical Analysis, Cell Biology, or related fields.
Academic or professional experience in Clinical Microbiology, Immunology, or laboratory-related areas is desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of the fundamentals of Microbiology:

Microbial morphology and physiology
Major groups of microorganisms
Virology and Mycology
**Strong knowledge of Immunology, with emphasis on:**
Mechanisms of host defense
Innate and adaptive immune responses
Immunological reactions involved in infectious processes
Ability to integrate theory and practice, linking course content to clinical and/or laboratory applications.
Practical Experience: Hands-on experience teaching laboratory practical classes, including:
Basic microbiology techniques (biosafety, culturing, staining, microbial identification);
Fundamentals of immunodiagnosis and interpretation of immunological reactions.
Experience in healthcare settings, clinical analysis laboratories, research, or extension activities is an advantage.
Pedagogical Competencies
Ability to plan and deliver both theoretical and practical classes.
Use of active learning methodologies and strategies that facilitate comprehension of complex topics.
Clarity in scientific communication, adapting language to the target audience and course profile.
Formative assessment and monitoring of the learning process.
