Job Summary: Supervise operations and maintenance of sanitary sewer systems, ensuring service continuity, reliability, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating teams and managing critical incidents. Integrated collaboration with multiple departments Supervise the operations and maintenance of regional sanitary sewer systems, ensuring service continuity, reliability, and compliance. Responsible for team coordination, monitoring of operational routines and performance indicators, managing critical incidents, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance system efficiency, intervention quality, and continuous process improvement. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise operational and maintenance activities of the regional sanitary sewer systems, ensuring service continuity, reliability, and compliance. * Monitor collection, transportation, pumping stations, and, where applicable, wastewater treatment activities, ensuring adherence to company operational procedures. * Supervise in-house and outsourced teams performing inspection, cleaning, unblocking, network maintenance, pumping station maintenance, and other operational unit activities. * Monitor operational incidents, overflows, equipment failures, blockages, and other critical events, ensuring prompt response and appropriate escalation of issues. * Track operational performance indicators for wastewater services, productivity, asset availability, and quality of interventions performed. * Collaborate with electromechanical maintenance, automation, environmental, customer service, and operational control teams to resolve incidents and improve performance. * Ensure accurate operational records, field reports, service controls, and timely updates of information on executed routines. * Support planning of preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as management of materials, equipment, and resources required for activities. * Contribute to continuous improvement of sanitary sewer system operations and maintenance processes. * Promote safety, operational discipline, and technical development of the team under supervision. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Sanitation, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Experience in operation and maintenance of sanitary sewer systems, preferably within sanitation concessionaires, utilities, or infrastructure organizations. * Knowledge of collector networks, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), field cleaning equipment, and maintenance equipment. * Experience supervising operational teams and third-party contractors, and monitoring performance indicators. * Ability to organize, prioritize, and respond effectively to operational incidents and contingencies. * Strong communication skills and ability to interface with maintenance, environmental, customer service, and operational control teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with operational management systems and work order systems is desirable. * Proactive, solution-oriented profile with a focus on service quality and continuity. * Experience operating pumping stations, unblocking networks, and handling environmental incidents is desirable. * Willingness to work onsite in Petrolina/PE. * Brazilian driver's license category "B" and availability for travel between operational units. **Additional Information** **BENEFITS:** Medical assistance; Dental assistance; Life insurance; Transportation allowance; Meal voucher and/or food allowance; Profit-sharing program (PLR); **VITA Sertão** is the sanitation concessionaire established to drive development in the Sertão region of Pernambuco.
