Job Summary: This role involves defining and evolving data architecture, developing and maintaining data pipelines, and migrating workloads to BigQuery or Microsoft Fabric, leveraging AI/ML for strategic insights. Strong expertise in BigQuery and data pipeline development . **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define and evolve data architecture and modeling (dimensional, relational, and event-driven), ensuring standardization, semantic consistency (FROM/TO), scalability, governance, and high performance; * Develop and maintain batch and streaming pipelines with end\-to\-end traceability, API integration, and connectivity to multiple sources, ensuring automation, observability, resilience, and version control/lineage; * Plan and execute migration and optimization of workloads on BigQuery or Microsoft Fabric, implementing best practices for partitioning, clustering, performance, and cost efficiency (FinOps); * Serve as a technical reference, supporting data governance, security, access control, and sustainable use of analytical platforms; * Apply Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to generate strategic insights and support data-driven decision-making. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience with SQL; * Experience with Python; * Experience with ETL processes; * Experience with data modeling (dimensional and/or relational); * Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform; * Strong expertise in BigQuery (modeling, tuning, partitioning, cost control); * Experience building data pipelines (batch and streaming); * Integration with APIs and multiple structured and unstructured sources; * Knowledge of data governance and FinOps best practices; * Experience migrating analytical environments to BigQuery or Microsoft Fabric; * Knowledge of AI/ML solutions applied to data; * Experience with pipeline automation, versioning, and monitoring. * Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern data architecture (Data Lake, Lakehouse), experience in large-scale data environments, experience with orchestration tools, prior experience in a technical mentoring role.
