We will keep all candidates informed of any modifications throughout the process. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Greet students upon their arrival at school. * Assist the Teacher in general teaching activities, helping\-him/her maintain students’ attention during lessons. * Address students individually during class time, clarifying doubts and supporting the Teacher in classroom management. * Support new students’ adaptation to the school. * Supervise students during snack and meal breaks, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of the area and ensuring proper nutrition. * Supervise students during playground activities, planning these activities jointly with the Teacher. * Supervise students when they use the restroom, guiding them on hygiene procedures. * Accompany students during extracurricular activities, as well as those related to Arts/Body & Movement. * Monitor student discussions and conflicts, intervening when necessary to foster harmony, friendship, and respect. * Occasionally substitute for the Teacher in his/her absence from the classroom. * Review each student’s agenda daily, checking notes, messages, and other relevant information. * Administer prescribed medications to students, as required. * Accompany students on school-organized external activities, such as field trips, excursions, and outings. * Support the Teacher in students’ English language literacy development. * Assist the Teacher in classroom management, supporting the application of necessary disciplinary measures for effective teaching/learning. * Help assess students’ performance on homework and exercises, reviewing their notebooks. * Continuously support the Teacher in evaluating each student’s individual development across all areas of the school curriculum. * Foster students’ attitudes and behaviors as outlined in the “Learner Profile – PYP”. * Discuss with the Teacher the activities to be implemented, ensuring alignment with the behaviors and attitudes specified in the PYP. * Participate in weekly planning meetings with Teachers and the Pedagogical Coordinator, adhering to guidance regarding work dynamics, content, strategies, attitudes, etc. * Organize classroom spaces, toys, audiovisual resources, and other materials to be used in class. * Request minor repairs or maintenance from the facilities team to ensure availability of materials, equipment, and classroom infrastructure. * Record daily student attendance in class, entering data into a specific report and forwarding it to the school administration office. * Assist in organizing and participating in school events involving parents, students, and teachers—such as “open house”, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, year-end celebrations, and other events previously defined by the school. * Organize individual student folders containing their annual activities, as well as compile each student’s *Yearbook*, to be delivered at year-end. * Support the Teacher in editing and formatting individual *Reports*, documenting each student’s developmental journey. **Requirements and Qualifications** **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy **IMPORTANT:** Experience in bilingual schools.
