Legislation monitoring and KPI development Position Title: Senior Bulk Import Analyst Location: São Paulo | Hybrid Job Mission Execute all customs-related operations for import and export processes in full compliance with applicable customs legislation, regulations, internal company procedures and policies, ensuring adherence to current customs laws, regulations, internal procedures and policies, while pursuing logistics process optimization and supply chain effectiveness. Main Responsibilities * Responsible for importing malt in bulk for all Heineken plants. * Responsible for controlling demurrage costs and related cost provisioning; * Perform preliminary cost calculations and track actual costs, providing clear visibility into import/export-related expenses to support informed decision-making; * Serve as a support point for Junior Analysts in the area, offering guidance on tasks; * Verify that all information in received purchase orders is complete and accurate to proceed with incorporating forecasts of taxes and ancillary expenses into the import order, aligned with the requesting department’s request. * Execute customs and operational procedures for the import process—from document review, relevant legislation analysis, verification and calculation for tax fund availability, through tracking the shipment from origin departure until nationalization—ensuring timely communication to all stakeholders upon customs clearance for transportation, thereby fulfilling legal requirements, optimizing logistics processes, monitoring cargo status, and enabling efficient internal communication; * Coordinate raw materials related to the import process; * Assess the financial viability of importing foreign goods and exporting products abroad, considering all relevant factors (e.g., NCM, Incoterms, international agreements, taxation, and expenses), responding to requests from any company department. * Carry out internal actions to close the import process—including control record completion, verification, and payment request—to ensure efficient post-clearance process completion, including payment of customs-related expenses. * Provide necessary support and information to other company departments and external agencies, ensuring smooth communication and effective internal/external collaboration throughout the import process; * Continuously analyze and monitor foreign trade legislation to ensure ongoing compliance with laws and regulations, minimize legal risks, and guarantee operations within legal parameters. * Analyze and monitor transit and COMEX account advance operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and proper execution of associated foreign trade financial transactions. * Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through process analysis and operational efficiency evaluation, consistently pursuing operational excellence; * Monitor new import-related studies and projects from conception through implementation, ensuring successful execution of all project stages; * Continuously monitor changes in foreign trade legislation and regulations concerning tax incentives and exemption-from-tariff (ex-tarifário) regimes to ensure strict regulatory compliance, maximize tax benefits, optimize processes, and maintain OEA certification, thereby ensuring compliance and efficiency in import/export operations; * Perform monthly closing of import operations, consolidating financial and accounting data to ensure accuracy of accounting records, provide clear visibility into monthly import costs, and facilitate preparation of financial reports and analyses; * Develop and compile performance indicators (KPIs) related to import/export operations, delivering quantitative insights into departmental performance, facilitating evaluation of operational efficiency, identification of improvement areas, and strategic decision-making; Academic Qualification Completed undergraduate degree.
