Description
**Objective:** Provide in-person support for accessibility in academic study, both inside and outside the classroom, acting as a reader and/or transcriber, especially assisting with completing assignments, writing papers, and supporting reading and text revision. Provide in-person support for accessibility during assessments and academic activities.
**Description:** Transcribe messages and contexts presented in printed format into oral communication for students with partial or total inability to read or decode texts due to disabilities, disorders, or syndromes;
* Transcribe messages and contexts orally or via alternative communication methods into written format for individuals with partial or total writing impairment.
* Contribute to providing exams in accessible formats to meet the specific needs of candidates with disabilities;
* Read written texts aloud for individuals with total or partial inability to independently read texts due to visual, physical, mental, or intellectual impairments;
* Handwrite texts expressed orally or through other alternative communication methods by individuals with visual, physical, mental, or intellectual impairments who are unable to independently handwrite;
* Assist in didactic-pedagogical and cultural study activities conducted in higher education institutions to enable access to curricular content;
* Support accessibility to institutional services and core activities, including assessment environments;
* Act as an inclusion agent by supporting the use of Assistive Technology, Communication Software, and/or Screen Readers;
* Support students during class hours or other pedagogical activities upon request;
* Engage in initiatives aimed at student recruitment and retention, following prior guidance;
* Support events and other activities designed to promote the institution’s brand and courses.
**Requirements:**
✔ Currently pursuing a higher education degree: Education Specialization and/or Inclusive Education are desirable;
✔ Desirable experience of 6 months to 2 years;
✔ Basic Microsoft Office package.
**Work Location**: Campus II – Adolfo Pinheiro.
**Work Modality**: 100% in-person.
**Schedules:** 5x2 – 20 hours per week – Monday to Friday, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
**Salary:** R$ 1.907,54.
**Benefits:** Transportation Allowance.
**Contract:** Temporary for 3 months, extendable up to 9 months.
