Job Summary: Operates plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines to cut steel sheets and handle materials, as well as perform basic equipment maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Performs basic maintenance on cutting equipment when required. Operates forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials for cutting operations. * Cuts steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sheets using plasma cutting machines according to established programming. * When necessary, performs sheet cutting using oxy-fuel torches and plasma. * Cuts sheets ranging from 1.5 mm to 101 mm thick on plasma and oxy-fuel cutting tables. * Cuts stainless steel sheets ranging from 1.5 mm to 25 mm thick on plasma cutting tables. * When required, performs basic maintenance on plasma cutting equipment. * Moves materials (sheets and parts) required for job execution using forklifts and overhead cranes. * Manages weighing of scrap generated in the department. Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education)
