Work with financial products and understand business processes About the Automation Area The Automation area participates in various internal bank initiatives and plays a fundamental role in the bank’s digital transformation. It holds a critical position within BTG, enabling scalability of both new and existing businesses through modern and disruptive automation solutions, generating data that supports departmental management and provides input for managerial decision-making. Our team is organized into squads aligned with the bank’s business areas, allowing developers to deepen their understanding of the business processes in areas they know well while ensuring continuous improvement of the solutions delivered to our internal customers. About the Short Job Internship Program in Automation In this program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of Latin America's largest investment bank, understand how BTG’s diverse products are operated and commercialized, and build solutions that transform the daily operations of multiple departments. Our interns spend two months on the team, always accompanied by a technical specialist to assist with any questions or issues that may arise. High-performing interns may have their contracts extended for an additional two months! **The selection process consists of the following stages:** * Application; * Cognitive skills assessment by partner Criteria (you will receive a link via email to complete the test — remember to check your spam folder as well!); * Panel Interview: Upon advancing in the selection process, you’ll be invited to an online session to get to know each other better. During this interactive session, you’ll complete a case study and/or practical challenge to assess your skills; * Technical test on HackerRank. **On a day-to-day basis, you will:** * Use AWS services to accelerate solution development; * Build front-end interfaces using ReactJS and Flask; * Program back-end logic and service APIs in Python; * Understand how to create standardized processes; * Work with various types of financial products; * Develop defined solutions and ensure delivery quality; * Provide support when a solution stops functioning as intended; * Maintain close relationships with users and keep them informed about solution progress and status; * Develop high-impact solutions integrating diverse technologies; * Ensure stability and proper operation of the team’s solutions. **What we look for in new talent:** * Curiosity: * To learn new programming languages; * To understand end-to-end processes and learn what a typical day looks like at a bank; * To acquire deeper knowledge about financial products; * About the technology landscape and the ability to recognize its applicability in everyday contexts. * Passion: * For teamwork and the desire to share knowledge; * For technology — coupled with genuine interest in understanding the business; * For data and the ability to see how it can support decision-making. * Enthusiasm: * To deliver the best solutions every day; * For technology — especially Python; * To improve processes that no longer function as effectively as they once did. **And for this, we require that you:** * Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (bachelor’s or technologist) degree program; * Be available to work with us for at least two months; * Be available to work onsite at our São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro office; * Preferably have prior experience with technology-related projects; * Possess foundational programming logic knowledge.
