We are seeking a professional to manage and optimize transportation operations, ensuring efficiency in route planning, appropriate fleet utilization, and high service levels in deliveries. This position plays an analytical and integrative role between production planning, billing, logistics operators, and carriers, ensuring operational predictability, cost reduction, and continuous improvement of the distribution network. **What we’re looking for in the candidate:** Proven track record of success in a complex operational environment where business performance was significantly enhanced. Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills — ability to manage suppliers based on data/indicators **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage carrier performance and relationships, ensuring adherence to service levels, contracted capacity, and operational efficiency. * Plan and optimize route planning and cargo consolidation, aiming for higher vehicle utilization, lower cost per delivery, and better use of the logistics network. * Conduct transport capacity versus billing volume analyses, ensuring alignment among production, dispatch, and vehicle availability. * Manage and monitor the transportation control tower, tracking delivery execution, handling deviations, and prioritizing critical shipments. * Perform recurring analyses of route efficiency and service frequency, identifying opportunities for consolidation and reduction of logistics costs. * Support tactical decisions related to loading planning, route sequencing, and order prioritization. * Collaborate closely with CD, planning, commercial, and logistics operator teams to ensure smooth distribution execution. * Propose structural improvements to the distribution network, logistics planning, and carrier management. **Main Activities** * Daily and weekly route planning and cargo allocation. * Operational management of the delivery control tower. * Monitoring and analysis of logistics performance indicators. * Vehicle utilization and order consolidation analysis. * Studies on logistics network efficiency and regional service frequency. * Management of logistics exceptions (delays, returns, redeliveries, rejections). * Interface with carriers for capacity management and performance improvement. * Preparation of analytical and managerial reports to support decision-making. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed undergraduate degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields). * Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret operational data; * Knowledge of transportation planning and logistics route optimization; * Experience managing carriers and distribution networks; * Proficiency in logistics KPIs and operational performance analysis; * Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP (SAP or similar); * Advanced Excel / data analysis tools. **Behavioral Skills** * Structured, solution-oriented thinking; * Ability to translate data into insights for decision-making; * Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; * Sense of urgency and operational mindset; * Collaborative profile focused on continuous improvement **KPIs requiring PROVEN expertise** * Service Level; * OTIF (On Time In Full); * OTD (On Time Delivery); * Delivery Lead Time; * Operational Efficiency; * Cost per Delivery; * Cost per Kilometer Driven; * Vehicle Utilization (% volume/weight); * Loading Productivity; * Quality Management; * Unsuccessful Delivery Rate; * Return/Rejection Rate; * Redelivery Rate; * Capacity Management; * Loading Plan Adherence; * Fleet Utilization; * Planned vs. Actual Capacity. **Leadership** * You feel energized when delivering outstanding results.
