Job Summary: Operate and maintain forestry equipment to ensure efficiency and productivity in loading and chipper feeding operations. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with the operational team and enhance skills Operate and maintain equipment used in forestry activities, ensuring proper functioning of the crane. This professional strategically performs loading and feeding operations, directly contributing to field activity efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities: * Operate the forestry crane safely and efficiently according to company procedures; * Load logs onto trucks or yards, or feed logs and forestry residues into the chipper, as assigned; * Conduct daily inspections and basic preventive maintenance on the equipment, identifying and reporting mechanical failures; * Monitor fuel and lubricant consumption, ensuring rational usage and optimal machinery performance; * Maintain the crane’s preservation, cleanliness, and presentable condition; * Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations; * Collaborate with the operational team, maintaining constant communication regarding any incidents or improvement opportunities; * Participate in training and capacity-building programs to enhance technical and operational skills; * Maintain operation records and reports, providing accurate information for production control and management; * Perform other related tasks as required and directed by leadership.
