Ensure optimization of processes and operational costs **Job Description** The Industrial Supervisor must lead operational and maintenance teams responsible for operation and maintenance of utilities (Wastewater Treatment Plant / Water Treatment Plant / Steam Lines / Compressed Air / Refrigeration Systems / etc). Responsible for team management, KPI monitoring, client interface, and ensuring system operations comply with defined requirements; performing equipment maintenance as needed to guarantee adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance plans established for the unit under their responsibility. Within operations under their responsibility, they serve as the primary point of contact for the operational team during operational emergencies, directing the team on potential process deviations that may compromise contractual operational scope fulfillment. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Ensure adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance plans defined for operations under their responsibility; * Develop maintenance service providers to meet contractual requirements; * Ensure documentation of all performed services for generating maintenance and operational KPIs to monitor performance and fulfill operational and maintenance contractual scope under their responsibility; * Apply maintenance management tools to define necessary actions for extending equipment service life and improving maintenance performance; * Evaluate operational KPI results to define actions for optimizing processes and operational costs, aiming to control operational expenses; * Serve as the local point of contact for client communication through weekly and monthly meetings to fulfill contractual requirements and propose potential improvements; * Develop maintenance and operational procedures in compliance with all applicable safety standards for performed activities; * Prepare operational and maintenance reports for submission to the client and contract management; * Manage timekeeping and overtime (HE) for unit personnel; * Define and monitor resource usage—including equipment (assets) and consumables (chemical inputs)—to ensure all equipment remains fully operational; * Actively participate in on-site meetings concerning employee and worksite safety; * Provide feedback to subordinates to foster team development and personal growth; * Maintain direct interface with Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, Occupational Safety, HR, and Engineering departments for operational support; * Responsible for executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment; * Monitor laboratory analyses for contracts under their responsibility, ensuring compliance with applicable quality requirements and standards per the client’s contract; **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Education: Technical degree in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Sanitation or equivalent qualification enabling registration with the Regional Chemistry Council (CRQ) * Experience in role: 2 years * National Driver’s License: Category B Minimum Education Level: Technical Course
