Teamwork in a diverse and positive environment We are seeking a professional who will be responsible for cargo lashing and signaling during cargo handling operations alongside crane operators, ensuring that lifting/handling operations are carried out in accordance with appropriate procedures, safely and efficiently, meeting client requirements. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Signal crane operators using manual signals and/or radio communication. * Conduct inspections / checklists of lifting equipment; following inspection, perform cargo lashing and signaling during cargo handling operations. * Participate in the assembly and disassembly of telescopic or lattice cranes and their accessories. * Prepare for cargo handling operations and inspect the activity area/site. * Perform daily equipment inspections jointly with the crane operator, and complete daily required documentation related to operations, such as DDS, APT, APR, and others, in compliance with client standards, regulations, and procedures; if no client-specific requirements exist, follow BSM standards and procedures. * Read and interpret rigging plans together with the crane operator. * Signal all maneuvers and positioning to the crane operator. * Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations; inspect safety devices; correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE); remain vigilant regarding work operations/environments to mitigate accident risks. * Willingness to travel; **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: (Minimum) Incomplete elementary school; Relevant experience preferred; Desirable training courses: Signalman/Rigger.
