Assist the accounting analyst in optimizing their daily workflow by recording client-provided transactional data and generating reports from the Tax and Payroll Departments, consistently pursuing process improvement and automation, thereby developing expertise in the field. * Verify client-submitted documentation against the protocol provided by the client (if available), and monitor submission of pending documents to ensure all documentation specified in the protocol is present at the office. * Enter journal entries into the system by manually inputting information from documents and reports generated by the Tax and Payroll Departments to map data, continually seeking opportunities to automate this workflow through technological tools or integrations between the client’s system and the accounting firm’s system. * Import clients’ financial journal entries (when the client provides a financial report or a standardized office spreadsheet filled out accordingly) via the journal entry import spreadsheet to optimize the accounting journal entry process. * Reconcile bank statements by comparing system balances with statement balances and resolving discrepancies—adding or removing entries—to accurately reflect the actual transactions recorded on the physical bank statement. * Organize documents according to department-defined standards, labeling and archiving them in boxes to facilitate internal retrieval and ensure documentation is returned to the client in a professional manner. * Configure and import payroll and related statutory contributions into the system using reports generated by the Payroll Department to demonstrate labor obligations to both the business owner and government authorities. * Record and reconcile federal, state, and municipal taxes in the system using reports generated by the Tax Department to demonstrate tax obligations to both the business owner and government authorities. * Record and reconcile revenue and customer accounts in the system using reports generated by the Tax Department to ensure accounting information aligns with data submitted to tax authorities. * Record and assess the company’s fixed assets and related depreciation using reports generated by the Tax Department and the depreciation spreadsheet to ensure accounting information reflects the company’s actual situation. * Electronically complete the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) form and the DME (Cash Transaction Report), using software provided by competent authorities to meet regulatory requirements within established deadlines, following standard procedures. * Complete and supply data required by other departments, such as IRPF (Individual Income Tax Return), DEFIS (Socioeconomic and Tax Information Statement), and tax planning—through preparation of spreadsheets and reports extracted from the system—to support third-party calculation and filing of taxes and declarations. * Perform tasks not strictly inherent to the position but necessary for the smooth operation of the department.
