Job Summary: We are seeking a Geoprocessing/GIS professional to work on collecting, processing, analyzing spatial data, and creating maps using GIS tools and geospatial technologies. If you have experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing spatial data; creating maps and cartographic products; using GIS tools; and working with GPS, drones, satellite imagery, and geographic databases, this opportunity may be ideal for you. * Collection, organization, and processing of spatial data using GPS, drones, satellite imagery, cartographic bases, and geographic databases; * Validation, standardization, and quality control of geospatial information; * Creation of thematic maps, plans, layouts, and cartographic products in a GIS environment; * Conducting spatial analyses, modeling, and interpretation of geographic data; * Structuring, maintaining, and updating geographic databases; * Automating processes and optimizing workflows using tools and scripts; * Technical support for multidisciplinary projects in engineering, infrastructure, environmental, and planning areas. **REQUIREMENTS**: * Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartographic Engineering or Surveying Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geoprocessing, Geosciences, or related fields. * Professional registration with the competent council (where applicable); * Proficiency in GIS tools, especially QGIS and/or ArcGIS; * Experience handling and analyzing spatial data (shapefile, raster, and geodatabase); * Knowledge of georeferencing, cartographic projections, and coordinate systems; * Interpretation of satellite imagery and remote sensing; * Creation of thematic maps and cartographic layouts; * Familiarity with geographic databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS; **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**: * Postgraduate degree or specialized courses in GIS/Geoprocessing * Basic knowledge of Python programming for process automation (a plus, but highly valued) If you are committed, analytical, and detail-oriented, this opportunity is for you.
