Come join our team and become a Med Member. **Responsibilities and Duties** Provide specialized orthopedic medical care to patients treated at the Specialized Rehabilitation Center (CER/CEES), tailored to identified needs, aiming at prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal system disorders and dysfunctions. Conduct orthopedic clinical consultations, specific physical examinations, differential diagnoses, prescribe clinical and/or surgical treatments, monitor case progression, and make necessary referrals in accordance with evidence-based medical best practices. Provide orthopedic care to patients ranging from low to high complexity, considering their clinical, functional, and social conditions, with emphasis on promoting physical and functional well-being and quality of life. Record all relevant consultation information—including diagnosis, management plan, progress, and complications—in patient medical records, in compliance with institutional guidelines. Perform clinical examinations and request complementary tests (imaging, laboratory, and functional), interpreting results to support therapeutic decisions. Prepare technical reports, orthopedic assessments, and medical opinions as needed, maintaining appropriate documentation for clinical, administrative, and legal purposes. Implement conservative treatments and/or recommend surgical procedures according to clinical evaluation and institutional protocols, ensuring continuous follow-up of patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the development of the Individual Therapeutic Plan (PTS), participating in goal setting, discharge planning, and/or referral processes for users. Provide clear and objective guidance to patients, family members, or caregivers regarding the condition, prognosis, recommended treatments, and required care, fostering engagement in the rehabilitation process and shared responsibility for treatment. Participate in clinical and interdisciplinary meetings with the CER/CEES team to discuss clinical cases—especially complex ones— aiming to define joint management strategies and optimize therapeutic outcomes. Promote continuous in-service education and contribute to training sessions, courses, and technical events focused on enhancing orthopedic and rehabilitation care. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with ANVISA regulations and institutional protocols, ensuring both patient and professional safety. Support patients and families in adapting to proposed therapeutic methods, conducting initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and guidance throughout the orthopedic rehabilitation process. Prepare technical documents, reports, official letters responding to external institutions and internal CER/CEES departments related to orthopedic services and procedures performed. Collaborate in developing normative instructions and clinical protocols related to orthopedic practice and services delivered by the institution. **Requirements and Qualifications** Medical degree and Medical Residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology. 1. Assessment and follow-up of musculoskeletal conditions associated with physical disability, such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, and syndromes. 2. Indication of surgical and rehabilitation procedures. 3. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and manage referrals.
