**Description and Responsibilities:**

**Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT* Daily inspection of devices, equipment, and supplies to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness, reporting any identified issues to the nurse;
* Collection of specimens for laboratory tests;
* Concurrent cleaning of unit furniture/beds according to schedule;
* ECG performance;
* Documentation of nursing notes relevant to the nursing care plan, based on medical, nursing, and nutritional prescriptions;
* Washing and labeling of materials used in procedures;
* Provision of direct patient care following the nursing care plan;
* Preparation of rooms/beds according to the specific requirements of each procedure, as well as necessary materials;
* Patient preparation for pre- and post-procedure according to individual indications;
* Safe preparation and administration of medications, recording all performed procedures on physical and electronic forms;
* Preparation of the unit to receive patients;
* Participation in the monthly PCR cart and transport kit inventory;
* Participation in refresher training programs when requested;
* Attendance at nursing meetings: Clinical Practice and Administrative, upon request.
* Active participation in shift handover, paying attention to all data concerning patients under one's care;
* Setup and dismantling of the unit during admission, transfer, discharge, and death;
* Operation of patient monitoring and treatment equipment;
* Maintenance of interpersonal relationships based on mutual respect;
* Keeping the nurse informed about any clinical changes in patients under one's responsibility;
* Execution of various treatments in collaboration with the nurse and/or physiotherapist, including aspirations, venous access puncture, bed baths, and other activities established by legislation;
* Execution of procedures delegated by the nurse, following the procedure manual and specific guidance for each case;
* Forwarding of materials to CME according to institutional routine;
* Forwarding of materials for processing to the CME department;
* Detection, documentation, and reporting to the nurse of any damages that may pose risks to patients under one's care;
* Compliance with instructions from the nurse;
* Monitoring of vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation and recording of complications on physical and electronic forms;
* Assistance to the nurse/physician in performing special and complex procedures;
* Assistance in oral diet administration, if required;
* Response to emergency situations;
* Adherence to good practices, biosafety standards, and procedures;
* Attending to demands during procedures in the observation room and/or Emergency Department;
* Recording of used materials and instruments on the designated printed form;
* Administration of enteral feeding according to institutional protocol;
* Accompanying patients to examinations or transfers to other units per institutional transfer protocol, accompanied by physician and/or nurse according to the patient’s clinical condition.
**Requirements:**
* Completed Nursing Technician course;
* Active and valid registration with Coren/DF;
* Minimum 6 months of hospital experience with critical patients;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
**The Selection Process may consist of 02 (two) or more stages described below:**
CURRICULUM ANALYSIS: Eliminatory stage;
KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT: Eliminatory stage;
BEHAVIORAL ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW WITH MANAGER: Eliminatory and ranking stage;
DOCUMENT REVIEW: Eliminatory stage;
COMPLEMENTARY EXAMS: Eliminatory stage;
PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAM: Eliminatory stage.
The determination of each stage of the process will be made by the Human Resources Management Department of ICTDF.
