Electro-electronic Maintenance Technician I

Minimum education level: Completed Technical High School
Desired education level: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
* Perform maintenance monitoring of electrical infrastructure, lighting, electrical panels (control circuits), cabling, electric motors, sensors, metal detectors, date coders, electric resistors, vibrators, NR12 circuitry; ability to read electrical diagrams, and to program and install universal process controllers for temperature, counting, and other applications;
* Provide technical support for metal detectors, date coders, and scales, including parameterization and resolution of reported issues;
* Conduct inspection routes on panels, motors, electrical controls, and inverters using a checklist and measurement instruments, verifying whether components and equipment comply with established standards or exhibit any nonconformities;
* Perform corrective maintenance on panels, motors, servo motors, electrical controls, frequency inverters, soft-starts, drivers, temperature controllers, flame controllers, product dosing controllers, and vibration controllers when production line failures occur during operation, using specific tools to replace components, perform adjustments, calibrations, and post-maintenance tests, as well as maintaining follow-up communication with production and immediate supervisor;
* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels following work orders containing predefined procedures and standards, and using specific tools and PPE;
* Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electric motors, including bearing and seal replacement, technical cleaning, lubrication, wiring (motor terminations), and wear measurement on rotors and end shields; upon completion, the technician must conduct electrical tests to ensure the equipment is in good working condition and properly identified as validated;
* Perform preventive maintenance on frequency inverters and soft-starts, including disassembly for internal cleaning, re-tightening, fan replacement, thermal paste replacement, visual inspection, and repair of nonconforming components, following work orders containing predefined procedures and standards, and using specific tools;
* Record corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance activities and inspection routes via the smartphone application provided, control spreadsheets, or dedicated system;
* Generate service notes via the mobile system, package equipment, and complete spreadsheets for sending equipment to external maintenance providers; identify and track equipment sent for external maintenance;
* Receive equipment returned from external maintenance to validate functionality and make it available for production;
* Comply with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental procedures, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices, in accordance with established standards;
* Report issues related to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to designated personnel;
* Perform other professional duties related and inherent to the position.
