More than writing scripts, this professional will design, standardize, and scale CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security, scalability, and speed, with GitHub Actions as the central pillar. **Hard Skills | Technical Requirements:** GitHub Ecosystem (Deep Proficiency) Advanced experience with Git and branching strategies (GitFlow, GitHub Flow, Trunk-based Development) Definition and enforcement of Branch Protection policies Creation of custom GitHub Actions (JavaScript and/or Docker) Development of Reusable Workflows and Composite Actions for standardization and reuse **Pipeline Governance with:** Environments Secrets Management Self-hosted runners Integration with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Dependabot) Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS Focus) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation **Practical experience with services:** EKS (Kubernetes) ECS (Fargate) Lambda S3 CloudFront Implementation of OIDC (OpenID Connect) between GitHub and AWS, eliminating use of static keys Strong emphasis on security, scalability, and cloud best practices Automation and Quality **Implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines, including:** Linting Unit Testing SAST (Static Analysis Security Testing) DAST **Experience with deployment strategies:** Blue/Green Deployment Canary Releases Feature Flags Desired Experience Proven track record of standardizing pipelines across multiple teams, ensuring process scalability Integration of pipelines with observability tools such as: CloudWatch Datadog Prometheus / Grafana Experience in complex environments with multiple products and engineering teams Behavioral Profile Architectural vision and sense of ownership Ability to influence and define technical standards Strong communication and collaboration across diverse teams Hands-on profile, focused on continuous improvement and quality.
