




Job Summary: This role involves supporting safety programs, inspections, training, and emergency preparedness to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the development of occupational safety and health programs 2. Conduct occupational safety training and audits 3. Support accident and emergency prevention § Assist the Occupational Safety Technician in developing the Risk Management Program (PGR), the Occupational Health Surveillance Program (PCMSO), and the Technical Report on Working Environmental Conditions (LTCAT), as required by the Ministry of Labor's regulatory standards; § Monitor and conduct training programs—both onboarding and routine—on occupational safety, including awareness-raising and dissemination of safety rules and procedures, aiming to foster a preventive safety attitude among employees; § Support the occupational safety policy with emphasis on strengthening safety culture and accident prevention; § Assist the Occupational Safety Technician in labor technical inspections and government agency audits, such as those conducted by the Ministry of Labor; § Conduct workplace inspections and internal audits to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions, proposing necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize situations contributing to incidents; § Propose suspension of activities and implementation of corrective and/or control measures upon identifying work conditions or situations associated with serious and imminent risks to workers’ safety or health; § Monitor workplace accident cases, referring and/or accompanying injured workers for appropriate medical care; § Monitor occupational safety performance indicators; § Collaborate with the Occupational Safety Technician to inspect, supervise, and monitor construction projects carried out by third-party contractors within company premises, ensuring all contractors maintain legally compliant documentation per applicable legislation; § Supervise and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by workers and record related information on the PPE Record Form, as stipulated in NR-06, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity; § Manage inventory control of uniforms and PPE, verifying and recording Approval Certificates, sending PPE requiring cleaning to hygiene services, and scheduling purchases; § Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and inspect fire protection equipment when necessary, aiming to reduce risks to workers’ safety and physical integrity; § Support the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) in its programs, evaluating its proposals to implement preventive and corrective solutions for accident and harassment prevention; § Coordinate the Internal Workplace Accident Prevention Week (SIPAT), organizing required activities and resources; § Collaborate with the Emergency Brigade in developing plans to manage and respond to imminent risk situations, establishing conditions for emergency response and pre\-hospital care for victims; § Collaborate with the Occupational Safety Technician to maintain the Emergency Action Plan (PAE) updated per CBMMG Instruction IT12 (Minas Gerais Fire Department) and ensure leadership is trained in crisis and emergency response procedures;
