Learn more about PepsiCo: PepsiCoJobs Responsibilities: **The Opportunity*** Responsible for maintenance and support of production lines — process and packaging — by performing preventive and corrective interventions on low-voltage equipment, aiming to maintain optimal equipment condition and continuously improve line efficiency, ensuring maximum productive uptime while meeting final product quality requirements. * Ensure compliance with Quality Policy and Procedures. * Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy. **Your Impact*** Troubleshoot electrical and/or mechanical issues in process and packaging operations; * Perform maintenance on electrical panels and/or motors; * Knowledge of frequency inverters; * Execute preventive and corrective maintenance; * Guide maintenance operators during maintenance execution; * Complete 70% of service orders; * Know trained operators and their skill levels; * Develop and deliver maintenance training to operators; * Evaluate maintenance operators daily and during talent alignment sessions; * Identify and discuss with production managers deviations from the maintenance process model; * Perform assigned preventive maintenance activities and report verification and control of those activities. If needed, request resources from maintenance engineering; * Perform corrective mechanical maintenance on food production machinery and equipment, carrying out assembly and replacement of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and components, based on drawings, manuals, and technical catalogs, to locate and correct defects, using general tools, equipment, and measuring instruments; * Accurately complete administrative documentation on the day tasks are performed; * Participate in daily problem-reporting meetings (DPP) and develop action plans to prevent recurrence; * Attend task-related meetings with TAG (quality, yield, film, etc.); * Attend pre-preventive meetings; * Adjust set-up for optimal operation according to production process requirements; * Read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical catalogs to understand machine operation and facilitate fault identification or identification of required replacement parts; * Guide/train production operators on best operational and cleaning practices to preserve and enhance equipment efficiency; * Report possible equipment failure symptoms; * Propose and implement line improvements, especially on lines where you serve as “godfather”; * Contact suppliers, request quotations, and issue purchase orders in the system; * Notify production and maintenance managers of breakdowns exceeding two hours.
