Job Description You will be responsible for performing high-complexity mechanical maintenance activities, working autonomously on **mechanical subassembly overhauls**, **assembly and adjustment of structures fabricated in boiler shops**, ensuring compliance with technical drawings, engineering specifications, and safety, quality, and environmental standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform **complete overhauls of mechanical subassemblies**, including disassembly, inspection, diagnosis, restoration, adjustments, and reassembly of components such as gearboxes, pumps, shafts, bearings, rolling elements, gears, and cylinders. * Carry out **assembly, adjustment, and alignment of metallic structures and assemblies fabricated in boiler shops**, ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity per design. * Interpret **mechanical and structural drawings**, identifying tolerances, operational sequences, and technical requirements for assembly and fabrication. * Conduct **dimensional measurements** using metrology instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, among others). * Define and apply **operational sequences for assembly and fabrication**, selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and methods for the process. * Perform fine mechanical adjustments, alignments, leveling, and shaping of parts and structures. * Provide technical support to lower-level mechanics, serving as the **technical reference at the workstation**. * Ensure compliance with **safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations**, following operational procedures, Risk Assessment (RA), Technical Responsibility Statement (TRS), and corporate standards. * Maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and equipment/tool preservation (7S/8S practices). * Document performed activities, reporting deviations, improvement opportunities, and technical correction needs. * Collaborate with planning, engineering, inspection, and supervision teams as required.
