Scope: Brazil Operations: PepsiCo Sete Lagoas Factory **Your Impact** * Ensure compliance with the established Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Policy; * Lead the local EHS team; * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations; * Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs; * Identify and assess risks associated with plant and warehouse operations, including process hazard analyses; * Provide EHS-related support and training; * Investigate safety incidents, workplace accidents, and environmental events to determine root causes and implement control measures; * Lead implementation and maintenance of the internal management system at the factory; * Manage risks and minimize impacts related to operations, identify improvement opportunities and emerging technologies, and share best practices; * Lead inspections and accompany technical visits, inspections, and audits conducted by public agencies; * Recommend control measures regarding exposure levels to physical, chemical, and biological hazards, characterizing unhealthy and hazardous activities, operations, and locations; * Analyze and lead change management for facilities, machinery, equipment, and Engineering department projects; * Specify, control, and supervise collective protection systems and safety equipment—including personal protective equipment (PPE) and fire protection equipment—ensuring quality and efficiency; * Actively engage with Technical Committees, especially leading systemic programs to ensure execution; * Support the Engineering team during planning and execution of health, safety, and environmental projects; * Govern and manage EHS key performance indicators (KPIs), create plans for continuous improvement and compliance; * Manage the area’s budget and strategic planning (Budget); * Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP); * Develop and present EHS results to leadership and operations; * Implement sustainable practices and technologies to minimize the plant’s environmental impact; * Manage plant licensing; * Collaborate with other departments—such as Production, Maintenance, and Quality—to ensure effective integration of EHS practices across all activities; * Conduct EHS awareness campaigns, communications, and programs; * Maintain contact with regulatory agencies and monitor inspection and oversight activities. Qualifications: **Who Are We Looking For?** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety and Environmental Engineering; * Proven leadership experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS); * Solid understanding of EHS management systems; * Lead auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including practical application; * Strong knowledge of current EHS regulations; * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; * Talent development capability; * Demonstrated ability to manage EHS data and statistics; * Effective networking skills within a multinational, multifunctional, and multi-business-unit environment; * Languages: English (proficient), Spanish (desirable); * Expertise in legal requirement management platforms (e.g., IUS Natura System); * Lead auditor for EHS management systems; * Software: Microsoft Office, SAP, SOC, and Power BI.
