• Check the condition of tools, verifying possible wear. • Prepare and assemble manual drilling fixtures and machining fixtures for parts; • Perform manual machining tasks using pneumatic drill and tapping machines; • Assist in operating CNC machines; • Conduct direct measurements (calipers, micrometers, gauges) on machined parts according to drawings; • Inspect oil levels and lubrication of soluble components on CNC machines. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of CNC machines; • Clean finished parts using compressed air to remove impurities and oil residues; • Install and remove jaws and chucks from the auxiliary table for part handling between processes; • Assist in waste disposal procedures for waste generated within the department; • Operate overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and semi-gantry cranes for part handling; • Assemble, measure, and inspect tools used in the machining process; • Perform rework on parts when necessary; • Clean parts before removing them from the machine; • Assist in training newly hired employees for this position; • Perform other duties inherent to the department as directed by the immediate supervisor; • Attend trainings and meetings as required; • Participate in internal and external audits as instructed; • Comply with Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations; • Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and the workplace.
