Serve as technical quality guardian and team mentor A technology company specializing in developing healthcare management systems seeks a Java/JVM Specialist Developer in Recife (Imbiribeira). **Responsibilities:** Analyze and develop solutions for the most demanding technical challenges across our ecosystem—from production performance bottlenecks to the design of new complex components. Actively collaborate in evolving our backend architecture by designing robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with industry best practices. Serve as the focal point for performance optimization, performing Java (JVM) application tuning, improving database query efficiency (Oracle and PostgreSQL), and ensuring low latency for our RESTful APIs. Act as a technical quality guardian by writing exemplary code, conducting the most critical code reviews, and disseminating knowledge on automated testing, design patterns, and clean code practices. Support the technical development of other team members through example, pair programming sessions, and sharing knowledge about advanced technologies and concepts. Research, prototype, and evaluate the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and tools that can deliver strategic benefits to our products and development processes. Bachelor's degree required.
