Job Summary: A restaurant in São José do Rio Preto is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, kitchen organization and hygiene, and assist the chef. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in food preparation, organization, and cleaning of food items and the kitchen. 2. Ensure hygiene and organization of the work area. 3. Follow instructions from the cook/chef and food safety regulations. The restaurant is seeking a Kitchen Assistant in São José do Rio Preto. **Responsibilities:** Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and organizing ingredients. Support plating and pre\-preparation of meals. Clean utensils, equipment, and the work area. Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards. Assist in inventory management and food storage. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed. Follow instructions from the cook or chef. Comply with food safety regulations and use of PPE. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Assistant Cook, Food Preparer, or Industrial Kitchen Assistant may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
