Key Responsibilities SURGICAL CENTER \- Assemble, disassemble, and clean video equipment and shaver devices; \- Restock and verify anesthesia carts; \- Prepare operating rooms before and after surgeries, including equipment disinfection; \- Circulate among operating rooms and record all expenditures in the system; \- Perform checklist inspections of defibrillators, laryngoscopes, and operating rooms; \- Conduct the Safe Surgery Checklist; \- Assist anesthesiologists during anesthesia induction; \- Assist physicians or instrument technicians in setting up the surgical table; CME \- Perform manual and automated cleaning, disinfection, drying, inspection, and assembly of surgical instrument trays or packages; \- Conduct the CME checklist; \- Maintain spreadsheets related to departmental performance indicators; \- Perform autoclave tests: Bowie & Dick test and biological test; \- Store sterilized materials in the central supply area; \- Monitor and control temperature and humidity levels in the central supply area; \- Track expiration dates of materials stored in the sterile supply area; \- Weekly planning of supplies required by the department; \- Request linens and manage laundry according to weekly demand; \- Dilute and monitor Atomic 70 solution; \- Log and dispatch materials for ethylene oxide sterilization, ensuring traceability with registration upon receipt of materials; INPATIENT UNIT \- Welcome patients upon admission; \- Assist patients in settling into their rooms; \- Administer prescribed medications to inpatients; \- Measure vital signs and apply Mews and Bpews scoring systems; \- Perform nursing station checklist, including epistaxis emergency kit; \- Register and dispatch anatomopathological specimens for collection by Cito Laboratory, and register and deliver specimens brought directly by patients; OUTPATIENT CLINIC Summary Description Provide care and assistance to patients attending consultations and/or examinations. Key Responsibilities \- Welcome patients; \- Provide urgent care to patients arriving at the unit with bleeding or other acute conditions; \- Provide patient instructions and guidance; \- Perform daily checklists for assigned departments; \- Maintain cleanliness and organization; \- Assist physicians during examinations, ear irrigations, general cauterizations, and epistaxis management; \- Administer medications; \- Clean and disinfect outpatient clinic instruments; \- Confirm appointments when requested; \- Assist with examination requests and preoperative instructions; \- Suture removal; \- Control outpatient expenditures; \- Restock supplies across all consultation rooms, examination rooms, and decontamination areas; \- Place examination request forms in all consultation rooms; ### **Prerequisites** Must have completed a Nursing Technician program and be available to work flexible hours. ### **Benefits** Hazard pay, Health and Dental Plans, Transportation Allowance, Meal Voucher. ### **Observations** WORKING HOURS: ON-CALL SHIFT \- Monthly schedule rotates to cover colleagues’ vacations.
