Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial information, financial planning, and analytical support for strategic decisions. Key Highlights: 1. Implement improvements to processes and internal controls. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** A professional to join our Paper Controller team at the Pirapetinga – MG unit, working on-site. This role ensures the integrity, reliability, and transparency of the organization’s financial and managerial information through the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls, financial planning, and analytical support for strategic decision-making. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting (forecast); * Ensure accuracy of financial and accounting reports; * Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs; * Support executive leadership in data-driven strategic decision-making; * Coordinate internal and external audits; * Implement improvements to processes and internal controls; * Manage costs; * Coordinate the work team; * Conduct inventory closing; * Advise other company departments on accounting and regulatory matters, guiding them on the proper definition and execution of internal controls; * Manage the team within your area, promoting selection, onboarding, and development of employees, monitoring performance, and encouraging professional growth. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance/Controlling is desirable; * Intermediate English proficiency (mandatory); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); * Experience with integrated systems (ERP), preferably SAP; * Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM); * Expertise in techniques for financial and budgetary planning; * Knowledge of industrial processes; * Mastery of accounting principles (e.g., financial statement analysis, expense/revenue recognition); * Proficiency in procedures related to internal controls and auditing; * Residency near Pirapetinga/MG or willingness to relocate. **Additional Information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
