Description: Basic requirements: * Completed Bachelor's or Teaching degree in Geography, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Cartographic/Geodetic Engineering, or related fields, with practical experience in GIS and geoprocessing. * Prior professional experience in the field, ensuring maturity for critical analysis and solution proposal. * Proficiency in ArcGIS PRO and QGIS, with hands-on experience in layer manipulation, geoprocessing, attribute tables, databases, data standardization, thematic map creation, and environmental analysis. You stand out if you have: * Additional training in GIS, geoprocessing, remote sensing, Python, geodatabase, dashboards, or land-use classification. Detailed Responsibilities: * Analyze environmental data and create thematic environmental maps related to the mining sector; * Generate land-use data and maps using satellite imagery and orthophotos; and produce vector data through vectorization (to achieve higher spatial detail); * Update the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) and review existing shapefiles in accordance with state and federal environmental legislation; * Update the vector database of land use, Permanent Preservation Areas (PPA), and Legal Reserves for the IBAMA Declaration Act; * Maintain the company's environmental cartographic database up-to-date via a GIS (Geographic Information System); * Design plots for monitoring planting activities on farm properties. 251212020250866876
