BOILER OPERATOR

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for operating and maintaining boilers in operation, controlling parameters, recording information, and performing cleaning. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and control of boiler equipment 2. Preventive and corrective boiler maintenance 3. Compliance with safety standards 1\. Responsible for operating boiler equipment, checking water level, temperature, pressure, and feeding the boiler with biomass; 2\. Monitor water level, temperature, pressure, bottom blowdown, wood chip level on the grate, and record information in the operation log sheet; 3\. Maintain boiler operation to produce steam required for the process; 4\. Clean boiler ash pans and the boiler area; 5\. Clean the gas washer; 6\. Perform tube steaming in the boiler; 7\. Conduct boiler water treatment; 8\. Supply wood chips to the surge silo; 9\. Observe safety, property, personnel, equipment, and utility regulations; 10\. Perform other related tasks as requested.
