Perform nursing care under the supervision of a nurse, providing safe and humanized assistance to surgical patients during the immediate pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages. . Assist with routine activities in the surgical center, in accordance with institutional protocols and biosafety standards. * Assist with patient admission and preparation for surgery, as prescribed and per protocol. * Assist with surgical positioning and placement of devices according to the type of surgery. * Verify materials, instruments, and equipment, reporting any irregularities to the nurse. * Support the medical and nursing teams during surgical procedures, ensuring immediate and safe assistance. * Complete nursing records related to care provided and material usage. * Safely transport patients within the unit (operating room, post-anesthesia recovery). * Perform concurrent cleaning of the operating room between surgeries, following protocols and work instructions. * Maintain organization, control, and proper use of departmental materials, medications, and equipment. * Correctly use PPE and comply with biosafety standards and NR-32. * Report complications or adverse events to the responsible nurse. . Collaborate in implementing Safe Surgery protocols (checklist, time-out, etc.). **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education and Technical Nursing course, with active registration at COREN. * Prior experience in a surgical center or hospital setting is desirable, with a minimum of 6 months. * Availability to work rotating shifts (day, night, weekends, and holidays). . Knowledge of health legislation, patients’ rights, and hospital regulations. .
