Underground Mine Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: Supervises mineral extraction processes, inspects mine areas, evaluates risks, and oversees contractors to ensure production aligns with the plan. Key Highlights: 1. Supervises mineral extraction processes, including drilling, loading, and hauling. Inspects mine areas, infrastructure, and excavation conditions, and evaluates activity-related risks. Supervises contractors operating underground. Responsible for delivering annual production targets as per the established plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in planning all tasks; contribute to developing procedures; ensure procedures are followed during activities, as well as risk controls. * Immediately report any incidents that occur. * Non-routine activities or changes in activity scenarios presenting high risk must be pre-approved by the immediate manager. * Monitor and control mine blasting operations. * Comply with and enforce the Production Program. * Prepare daily activity reports. * Plan, organize, control, and supervise mining/development activities and resources under authority: workforce, materials, methodologies, equipment. * Monitor and control costs inherent to the area. * Coordinate with support departments (geology, maintenance, procurement, human resources). * Attend daily safety meetings to discuss safe behaviors to be observed during task execution. * Receive blasting engineering schedules, plan activities, and assign tasks to the team. * Audit, report non-conformities, and implement improvements in the unit operation of blast-hole drilling. * Responsible for establishing exclusion zones according to predefined areas. Verify exclusion zone setup and authorize blasters to proceed with blasting. * Conduct particle size distribution analyses. * Attend weekly meetings between Mine Operations and Blasting teams. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical degree in Mining. * Solid experience supervising underground mining operations; * Valid CFT certification; * Experience leading operational teams; * Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills; * Familiarity with RM / TOTVS system; * Driver's license category B. **Additional Information** * Charter transportation * On-site meals * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Life insurance * Funeral assistance * Food allowance * Christmas bonus * Daycare assistance * Housing assistance * PPR (Profit Sharing Plan) At P.A.
