**Responsibilities and Duties**
As an **Automation Technician**, you will:
* Execute automation projects jointly with engineering, organizing development and performing detailed design—from initial elaboration through client implementation.
* Develop application software for PLCs and/or supervisory systems; field network projects; PLC and electrical panel projects; DF analyses; cable lists; platform and field testing; commissioning; start\-up; assisted operation; training;
* Perform maintenance on industrial automation systems.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Required Education:
* Technical course in automation, electrical engineering, electronics, data processing, or related field.
Desirable Knowledge:
* Hardware knowledge of control systems (PLCs, DCS, remote data acquisition units, power supplies, UPS, electrical panels) — especially Rockwell Platform (PlantPAX);
* Proficiency in developing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS, and/or supervisory application software;
* Preparation of equipment and instrument specifications, logic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and loop diagrams;
* Platform, field, and start\-up testing;
* Assisted operation;
* Training;
* Process control instrumentation knowledge;
* Electrical equipment knowledge;
* Industrial field network knowledge;
* Optical fiber networks and related accessories knowledge;
* Basic knowledge of motor starters and drives (Soft Starters, Frequency Inverters), MCCs, substations, and electrical controls;
* Knowledge of NR\-10;
* Professional registration required.
